Job description:

The Customer Service Officer occupies a very dynamic and varied position .You report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

Your assignments will be as follows:

  • You are responsible for managing customer orders: encoding, confirmation, tracking until shipment and monitoring
  • In close collaboration with your colleagues in the sales department (external sales representatives), but also with other departments (logistics, production, development, communication, quality and accounting), you ensure the proper order follow up and OTIF delivery;
  • Real point of contact for your customers, you provide telephone support, answer basic technical questions, manage the introduction of complaints and ensure follow-up in collaboration with external sales representatives
  • You welcome customers from your area during site visits/loading
  • You provide support for various administrative tasks on request

Your profile:

  • You have a similar successful professional experience of at least 3 years, ideally within an bilingual Customer service
  • You are comfortable and proactive in using an integrated ERP as well as monitoring the CRM tool of the field sales team
  • You have the ability to communicate effectively
  • You have excellent commercial skills and you are particularly attracted to support and advisory functions
  • You are flexible, conscientious and willing to learn
  • You are organized, rigorous, persevering and able to manage multiple tasks by establishing your priorities
  • You have good communication skills, with all types of personalities. You show diplomacy and assertiveness
  • You are customers solution-oriented and dare to take initiatives
  • Team spirit & collaboration in and outside the Supply Chain team
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office
  • You are fluently (written and spoken) bilingual (NL-FR), preferably Dutch native. Knowledge of English would be an asset
